Adult Muay Thai Kickboxing Curriculum for Jan. – March 2009

This is the Premier Adult Muay Thai Kickboxing Curriculum for Jan. – March 2009. It is also available on DVD; ask an instructor if you’d like a copy. Our kickboxing school has a structured training curriculum that develops your skills and ability in a smart, rapid, and logical way.

Remember that your monthly progress testing is on “B” days, the last week of each month. Level Testing & Graduation for this first testing cycle of 2009  will be on Thursday evening, March 6 at 7 p.m..

Student must perform Kickboxing Sets in the three forms of fight training:

1. Shadow boxing – Enhances the student’s techniques by performing the techniques to the air with proper form, fluidity, and fighting intensity.

2. Pad Work – Allows the student to add focus and power to their technique while striking the pads and helps the pad holder work on their defense as pads drills should be as intense as sparring.

3. Partner Drills/Sparring – The actual application with a partner builds timing, movement, distance control, and tests your endurance and toughness.
